A Fall- Themed Kirkland Wedding
Hi, friends! Michael here 🙂 This time on the SP Blog, I’m excited to show some favorites from Jenn + David’s Kirkland wedding from last Friday! If you had the chance to read Jenn + David’s engagement session post, then you know that they are made for each other. They chose to have their intimate wedding at the charming Heritage Hall in Kirkland and it’s probably one of my favorite Eastside venues as a Kirkland wedding photographer. This boutique-like venue is surrounded by a stunning garden and Kirkland’s waterfront. All of this made for a dreamy backdrop for photos.
What really struck me at Jenn + David’s wedding was how happy their parents were throughout the entire day. Jenn’s dad smiled from the moment he arrived to when Stormy and I finished at the end of the night. What especially stood out to me were the dinner toasts by the father of the bride and mother of the groom. Kevin, Jenn’s dad, reminisced on Jenn’s youth and highlighted how bittersweet Jenn getting married is for him and how proud he is of her choice in David. David’s mom, Diana, highlighted how happy she is to have Jenn as a new daughter. We caught them on the dance floor later in the night and her joy dancing with Jenn was infectious.
Jenn + David, Stormy and I are so honored that we got to photograph such a special time in both of your lives. After all of our time together, we really see you two as family and wish you all the best in your life together! Stay in touch 🙂
