Intimate Wedding at Sadie Lake Events

Kayla and Scott were always planning on having a small, intimate wedding, but due to COVID had to change their venue which was originally the Salish Lodge. Luckily, Sadie Lake Events in Arlington, WA was available with the perfect venue! The outdoor ceremony site was set up just right for a small gathering of Kayla and Scotts closest friends, family, and of course, their dog Albert.

All the Little Bridal Details

Kayla incorporated so many sentimental details for her wedding day. For example, she wore on her wedding shoes her grandma’s pin that the women in Kayla’s family traditionally wear on their wedding days. She also brought the bracelet she wore as a flower girl and gave it to her flower girls before the ceremony. Another cute addition was adding Albert’s name tag to her bouquet as her something blue. Albert of course had a matching blue bow tie.

Fast forward to reception toasts, it was wonderful to hear the story from Danielle and Steve, one of Kayla’s bridesmaid and the best man respectively, of how Kayla and Scott met. As the story goes, Kayla and Scott met at Danielle and Steve’s wedding, really hit it off, and started dating soon after! The rest is history!

Kayla and Scott, it was an absolute honor to build a friendship with you both while you were engaged and up to your sentimental wedding day! We can’t wait to see what amazing adventures you go on together and at the next Stormy Brides Brunch! Congratulations on your wedding that is a match made in heaven!
