Today on the SP Blog, I wanted to share the very first styled shoot I participated in at the end of January. I’ve decided to post about this San Diego Styled Shoot (better late than never, am I right?) because I’ve been planning and coordinating my own styled shoot that is coming up next week and a few of the vendors from this San Diego shoot are working with me in my upcoming shoot!

For those who aren’t familiar with what a styled shoot is, I assure you that it is actually as it sounds. The main purpose of styling any photoshoot is to create beautiful images from an idea that some person has in his/her imagination and is able to bring to life with the help of other people and businesses. I think styled shoots are a really fun way to meet other photographers and create meaningful relationships with vendors through photographs.

Wedding styled shoots are my absolute favorite just because I had so much fun planning my own wedding and reliving a wedding in some way brings me joy. My absolute favorite part of this shoot is the color scheme– I LOVE purple!!
