Seattle Arboretum Senior Session

Michael and I were back at the Seattle Arboretum for a really fun senior session over the weekend. Kendra was an absolute delight to photograph not just because we found her to be hilarious and very kind, but also because she was using crutches and in a boot and that didn’t stop her! The Seattle Arboretum is perfect for a senior session. It has a huge amount of PNW-esque spots for photos and we were especially grateful for the abundance of benches and things to lean up against, all things considered. I’m still impressed that we were able to do a fair amount of standing photos by paying attention to which poses would put the least amount of weight onto Kendra’s injured foot.

Getting to know Kendra during her senior session, we found that we shared a mutual love for cats. Kendra’s family has five kitties in their family and we have three! Extra cat cuddles for us! Kendra also plays the viola in her school’s orchestra, which I find to be such a beautiful instrument. I used to play the cello and actually decided to learn photography over teaching myself the cello, again. Kendra may have motivated me to do both!

Overall, this session was tons of fun. I feel like we spent most of our time laughing or learning more about what sorts of clubs and activities Kendra is filling her last year of high school with. Kendra, you’re going to have the best year and I have no doubt that you’ll enjoy every moment!

XOXO,

SP
