Katie + Eric | Seattle Yacht Club Engagement

I’m so happy to be sharing some of my favorite photos from Katie + Eric’s engagement session at the Seattle Yacht Club! I’m drooling over this adorable Seattle Yacht Club engagement shoot, especially since it was my first time here! From her first email to when we sat down from coffee, Katie told me all about how significant the water was to her relationship with Eric. It’s where they first met teaching sailing and where Eric proposed to Katie. Even their wedding next May is at the beautiful Alderbrook Resort by the water.
The first time that Katie and I had coffee together, I could tell how excited she was to marry Eric. Listening to her share how they met and how he proposed was contagious. Her eyes lit up in a way that I usually see for the first time at a couple’s engagement session.
Katie + Eric were such a fun and laid-back couple during their photos. After getting past the normal camera shyness, we were able to take photos on a family boat and chat like old friends catching up. Not only were these two incredibly kind and open from the start, but it was fun to see how playful they were together. If it wasn’t more obvious how much these two love each other, then take a look at what I saw when these two looked at each other!
