Ashley and Jacob’s sweet wedding over the weekend radiated so much love and joy. From all of the happy tears to the sore cheeks from smiling so hard, I’d say their wedding day was one that Michael and I will never forget.
Ashley and Jacob chose to do a first look before their ceremony to spend more time together on their wedding day and to get more portraits together. Photos were a huge priority to them to remember their wedding day. Michael and I are always on board with extra portrait time when our Stormy Brides and Grooms add it into their timelines! I was so excited when Ashley wanted to add more first looks with the special people in her life. We were able to do a bridesmaids reveal AND a first look with her two brothers before her first look with Jacob! Before the ceremony, Ashley had a private daddy-daughter first look, too. It was the most sweet and tender moment to witness! Just when I thought this moment with Ashley’s father couldn’t get any more heartfelt, Ashley’s father presented a necklace symbolizing the key to Ashley’s heart to Jacob. I’m not saying I cried, but I’m also not saying I didn’t. The whole day had so many wonderful moments like this!
I can’t fully express what an amazing experience it was to capture Ashley and Jacob’s love, but even more so because of the friendship we’ve built with them! I am so blessed to be friends with these two and I’m looking forward to all of our future double dates! Love you both <3
