Michael and I made a quick trip out to my hometown of Colorado Springs to visit my family and I wanted to share some photos that Michael and I took of everyone. We always try to schedule a trip when my littlest sister, Izzy, from Florida spends the summer with our dad. This trip was extra special because my dad and his beautiful fiancé, Colleen, are expecting another little girl this year. We are so excited for another baby sister!
A huge shoutout to Michael for taking these family photos and the big group photo at the end of this post. I packed clothes for Michael to wear for photos, but he happily took these photos instead when we decided not to bring our tripod. I’m obsessed with how these turned out and it was so refreshing to shoot with lighter green trees and grass compared to the dark pine trees here in the PNW. My dad lives in front of a golf course and it made the perfect location for some quick sunset portraits.
I’m missing my family already and I can’t wait to meet my new little sister!

[…] I’m so excited to share that our family is growing! In September, my dad and his fiancé brought into the world my newest baby sister. I flew to Colorado to soak in all of the newborn baby snuggles of my baby sister, while also taking maternity photos for my other little sister, Summer, and her husband. Summer just gave birth to her son yesterday morning and I’m over-the-moon excited to meet her little boy and celebrate her becoming a MOM and me an AUNT!
