After being out of town for the last week, I’m happy to share some of my favorites from our recent Camano Island elopement! If you haven’t had the chance yet, then take a look at Linden + Cary’s beautiful and glowy engagement session at the Seattle Arboretum HERE before seeing their dreamy elopement photos.
Camano Island Elopement
Joined with a couple of close friends and their fur baby, Barley, Linden and Cary celebrated their love in a laid-back ceremony. It was truly a reflection of who they are as a couple. Like many 2020 brides, Linden had to make the decision about postponing their larger celebration to a safer time. Even with Cary straining a muscle that same morning and their wedding timeline becoming more fluid, we were able to capture all the beautiful details of their elopement as the day unfolded.
After getting ready and trying to get Barley to look at my camera with bribes, Linden and Cary shared a sweet first look. It’s so obvious in person and in their photos to see the effortless love and chemistry that Linden and Cary have as a couple. During their intimate ceremony, the couple potted and watered a plant together as a symbol of their unity. If you know Linden, then you know that she loves plants. This was such a meaningful way to show Linden and Cary’s love and commitment to each other.
After their ceremony concluded, we made our way down to the beach for husband and wife photos by the water. Their wedding day was blessed with sunshine and that golden evening glow! A special ‘thank you’ for Melissa for helping make all of their portraits with Linden’s veil happen, too! Finishing up portraits back by the beautiful greenery and garden of the Camano Island private residence, all three of us made our way to the small dinner gracious put together by their friends.
To conclude, the whole day was a dream and I’m honored that I got to capture it while having a blast with Linden and Cary. Enjoy some of my favorites from their elopement below. Congratulations to the happy couple!
