Are you ready for today’s extra special winter engagement at Gold Creek Pond?!? A brief backstory: Hayley and Greg met on their very first day of high school. Talk about high school sweethearts! After almost a decade of being together, these two are tying the knot on their 10 year anniversary next week. I was so honored when Greg reached out asking me to document their engagement!

Winter Engagement Session at Gold Creek Pond

Gold Creek Pond made out to be the perfect location. When we arrived, we were greeted by beautiful white snow and SO many other people who also wanted to enjoy a sunny, yet snow-filled outing. Despite the crowds, we found flattering light and a little bit of privacy. The weather forecast initially called for overcast skies, but we didn’t want to miss out on Gold Creek Pond’s unique lookout OR blind Hayley and Greg with the sun. To compromise, I made poor Michael use our large changing tent to create shade for Hayley and Greg. He battled the wind and the photos made it all worth it. Would you believe that this is Hayley and Greg’s first time getting professional photos done together?!?
