I’m so happy to be sharing some of my favorite photos from Katie + Eric’s engagement session at the Seattle Yacht Club! From her first email to when we sat down from coffee, Katie told me all about how significant the water was to her relationship with Eric. It’s where they first met teaching sailing […]

Today’s SP Blog post features Jessica + Nick’s Leavenworth Wedding from last Saturday. If you haven’t seen their sunrise engagement photos, do yourself a favor and check that out here. Jessica + Nick have one of those love stories where they met years ago and reconnected only to fall in love and ultimately, decide to […]

I want to start out by saying how pumped I was when Kelsie went with my idea to bring confetti poppers for her getting ready photos. I mean, if you’ve already got your girls in matching robes, then why not make those photos EVEN CUTER with confetti?!?

With so many things running through my brides’ minds leading up to the moment they say “I do,” I don’t want something like bridal and grooms details to be overlooked! One of the first things I do when arriving the getting ready room (besides giving my bride a BIG hug) is take photos of her […]

This past Wednesday was an early morning, for sure! Jess + Nick initially wanted to have their engagement session at Gold Creek Pond in Snoqualmie, but it’s a bit of a jaunt from the Eastside in the morning traffic. It was about 5am when we switched the location from Snoqualmie to Houghton Beach in Kirkland.

Today on the SP Blog, I’m sharing some of my favorites images from my Saturday session at Pike Place Market. (Between you and me, being a family photographer is moving up to one of my favorite session types.)

Today on the SP Blog, I’m sharing some of my favorite photos from Jenn + David’s engagement session on Sunday in Seattle. One of the many things that I love about being an engagement photographer is hearing all of the different love stories from my #stormybrides! One of the sweetest things I’ve ever heard is […]

Today on the SP Blog, I’m so excited to share some of my favorite photos from Baby Maclin’s lifestyle newborn session from over the weekend. I may be a little biased because Maclin has the coolest parents, but he’s one of the sweetest babies I’ve ever met. I’m making my judgment entirely on that he […]

You know how people say that what you put out is what you attract in return? Well, I am so lucky to say that by putting my personality out in the open, I’ve attracted so many clever, hilarious, and beautiful brides-to-be! Kelsie is no exception to this!

What a perfect way to kick off our wedding season than with an intimate backyard wedding on Vashon Island! This was actually my first time on a ferry EVER. I’ve lived near Seattle since 2013 so I’m not sure if it’s surprising or shameful to be taking my first ferry ride six years after I moved here.
